Leadership Team

Marvin Keys serves as Chief Legal Officer of First Midwest Group, providing legal counsel across the organization’s real estate development and leasing activities. Since joining the company in 2003, he has brought extensive experience in land use, zoning, real estate transactions, and contract negotiations to support its operations and long-term objectives.

Before joining First Midwest Group, Mr. Keys practiced law at Diamond & LeSueur, P.C. in McHenry, Illinois. His practice focused on municipal law, land use and zoning, commercial and residential real estate development, and contract negotiations. He also served as municipal attorney for the Villages of Prairie Grove and Port Barrington.

Mr. Keys earned his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Florida Southern College. He was admitted to practice law in Illinois in November 1998.
